The Purple Heart is a military award to ones who have been wounded or killed in battle or acts of war or in other cases awarded to the family of ones killed in action. This award is a combat decoration of the highest order.

The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is located in New Windsor, New York. This award is one of the oldest military awards given, founded in 1932.

Commemorative Dog Tags' Purple Heart Stainless Steel Dog Tag. Multi Color Premium Stainless Steel that is .070 thick with a metal Purple Heart emblem, size is approximately 2" x 1-1/8". This Purple Heart dog tag includes One Dog Tag, One Jump Ring, One 28" long 2.4mm Ball Chain and One 1" Split Key Ring and a Jewelers Polishing Cloth.
